About the Owner
Christian Sweet started swinging a hammer alongside his dad and granddad at the very start of his formative years in the craft. He absorbed so many foundations of carpentry from three generations of wisdom. Sensing a change in customer needs, he applied his knowledge of precision by catering to an emerging interest for vinyl siding materials. After becoming VSI certified and working many years in the industry, Chris became inspired to pursue a career path as a contractor as a vinyl installer specialist. To achieve this, he participated in years industry training. Through hard work and perseverance, Chris eagerly became the proud President of Vinyl Concepts Incorporated in 2001.
Christian started his company in response to the immersing vinyl trend which was proving to be an attractive, cost-effective replacement for wood building products. Unlike other remodeling companies, Chris specializes in one thing and one thing only, complete home exteriors. Most days you will find him up high on scaffolding working alongside his trusted, loyal crew. His daily presence is not only reassuring to his customers, it is reassuring to his reputation. For the past decade, he made trusted connections with local, esteemed distributors and builders, to insure that he will be able offer customers the best products and at the pricing available. With support from his loyal Lead Installation Technician, Randy, Vinyl Concepts is now a trusted and respected name. Christian erected Vinyl Concepts Incorporated out of an inspired instinct and watched evolve to become, what’s been whispered, Rhode Island’s best kept secret.

At Vinyl Concepts Incorporated, we aim to use recycled, ecological products from our distributors. Most people don’t realize that vinyl siding is an environmentally-friendly alternative to other building products such as wood. Vinyl can be recycled to create new materials and it is cleaned easily with soap and water thus eliminating the impact of toxins found in paints and cleaning products. When properly installed vinyl siding creates an efficient insulation air sealant which greatly reduces unnecessary HVAC usage. Unlike other building materials, vinyl siding can withstand foul weather elements. The material is durable and can easily repel water.
